Festival of Gardening
Saturday 10th & Sunday 11th April, 10am – 4pm
This new format event, which replaced the Spring Show last year, focuses on the delights of gardening and associated interests. Not only will Capel’s own 30 acres of themed gardens give you ideas and inspiration but exhibitors will be on hand to show you the latest trends, plus there’ll be plant sales and a spring flower show based around the entrance area. Capel’s staff will be on hand to offer advice and guidance on specialist topics and the Manor House will be open for cream teas. Tractor rides and garden walks will be available throughout the day as well as Willow Weaving demonstrations, food sales and Punch & Judy shows. Fig Fairs will be organising a craft fair in ‘The Barn’ together with many demonstrations. (Enquiries only from genuine craftworkers please, call Fig Fairs on 01279 835744)
