Set in our beautiful grounds, Capel Manor Gardens welcomes its annual Classic and Vintage Car Show on Sunday 6 September 2026. Get into gear and come along to see a wide-range of over 500 fabulous cars, some dating back to the 1920s. A fantastic day out for families and car enthusiasts.
Throughout the day, you can also enjoy:

• Cream tea on the back lawn of our 17th Century Georgian Manor House*

Roger Burrows will open the event at 11.15am in front of our Manor House. Please be aware that last admission is at 2.30pm and our Gardens close promptly at 5.00pm. We suggest arriving early to make the most of your day.
If you own a veteran, classic or vintage car manufactured prior to 1986 and would like to exhibit at our event, please ensure you purchase an exhibitor ticket, available soon.

When should we arrive?
We recommend arriving from 10am to make the most of your day. We will have live entertainment and performances scheduled throughout the day and you can also visit the gardens.

Who is this event suitable for?
The event is suitable for all ages and there is something for everyone, especially car enthusiasts and families. Children are welcome and must be supervised by parent or guardian.

Do I need to buy tickets?
All visitors are required to purchase a ticket. Please ensure you download your ticket prior and present the QR code on arrival. Friends of Capel members need to book tickets, however they gain entry with their annual membership.

Is there free parking for visitors?
We have limited free car parking on site for our visitors, available on a first come first served basis. Please follow the signage and directions from our parking marshals. We encourage car show visitors to share rides with family and friends, make use of nearby street parking, or use public transport where possible.

How accessible is this event?
We have limited disabled parking spaces available on a first come first served basis. Please inform our parking marshals upon arrival.. We have a limited amount of mobility scooters that will need to be reserved in advance. Please contact us if you would like to reserve one, please note there is a £5. One carer is admitted free of charge with each visitor whose disability necessitates a carer.

What clothing and footwear is required?
The full event will be taking place outdoors, please wear suitable clothing, rain or shine. The event will go ahead whatever the forecast.

Are the Gardens and mini zoo open as normal?
Yes, our Gardens and mini zoo will be open as normal however all visitors will be required to pay the admission fee for the event to enter the gardens on Sunday 6 September 2026.

What happens if we want to visit the gardens only on Sunday 6 September 2026?
Our Classic and Vintage Car Show is taking place within the gardens, therefore all visitors are required to pay the admission fee for the event.

Can I use a complimentary or discounted Garden admission ticket on the day?
Complimentary or discounted Garden admission tickets are not valid on event days.

Will the toilets be open?
Yes. We will have designated toilets open throughout the estate, please follow the signs or ask a member of staff for help.

Can I pay by cash?
Yes, we accept payment by cash and card at our venue.

Can I bring my dog?
Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome to the event and gardens with the exception of the café and mini zoo. Please ensure you clear up after your dog.

What is the Medical/First Aid procedure?
St John’s Ambulance will have a presence at our event, they will be situated at South Park near the fence line. In case of an emergency, always call 999 and notify a member of staff in hi-vis as soon as possible.
