Old Manor House Garden
Originally opened by Her Majesty the Queen, the Old Manor House Garden seats up to 80 guests. The romantic Chapel ruins are adorned with winding ivy and climbing roses, and it is easy to see why this is such a unique and popular setting.
17th Century Garden
Secluded at the far end of the south-west side of the Gardens, and draped in white roses in the summer months is the 17th Century Garden which seats up to 110 guests. Enjoy the privacy of the surrounding fern hedging with the woodland trees as your backdrop.
Larger ceremonies
The back lawn of the Manor House is ideal for seating a maximum of 150 guests. Capel Manor provides an impressive focal point that exudes historic elegance. There is also the added luxury of being surrounded by well-manicured lawns.
Indoor ceremonies
For indoor ceremonies and winter weddings, the main room in the 17th Century Georgian Manor House provides a traditional setting for up to 70 guests.
Religious blessings
In addition to being licensed for civil ceremonies, we are a sought-after venue for a variety of meaningful occasions. Whether you’re planning a religious blessing, a proposal, a Nikkah, or a handfasting ceremony.

Are the Gardens licensed for civil ceremonies?
Yes, we have a variety of licensed indoor and outdoor locations to choose from.

Can I host my reception at Capel Manor Gardens?
We offer ceremony-only with the option to have a standing drinks reception in the Gardens after the ceremony. We do not have the facilities to host a wedding breakfast or evening reception.

Is there a wet weather option?
We are happy to discuss our available wet weather options with you following your enquiry.

Do I need to book my own registrar?
Yes. The venue cannot book the registrar for you, so once your date is confirmed you will need to give notice of marriage to your local registry office. This can be done up to 12 months in advance of your ceremony date. A minimum of 28 days must elapse between giving notice and the wedding date.

Do you require a deposit to secure the date?
In order to confirm your booking we require a 50% deposit. The remaining 50%, plus a £200 refundable damage deposit, will be required eight weeks prior to the wedding.

What time can we access the venue from?
You and your suppliers can access the Gardens from 10am on the morning of your wedding. If you need earlier access please let us know as we may be able to accommodate your request.

Is there enough parking for all of my guests?
There is ample free parking available on site.

Is confetti allowed?
We allow the throwing of dried flower petals only. Any other confetti, including biodegradable confetti, is not permitted.

Can my dog come to my wedding?
Yes! We allow well-behaved dogs on leads in our Gardens.
