On Sunday 6 September, Capel Manor Gardens came alive with the sights, sounds and unmistakable charm of classic motoring as we welcomed more than 600 stunning classic and vintage cars to our annual Classic and Vintage Car Show.
From beautifully preserved treasures to much-loved motoring icons, the show was a fantastic celebration of automotive history. Enthusiasts and car clubs travelled from across the UK to showcase their incredible vehicles, creating a truly unforgettable experience for everyone who joined us.
There was something for everyone throughout the day. The Enfield Brass Band transported visitors back to their youthful days with a brilliant live performance, filling the gardens with music and adding to the wonderful nostalgic atmosphere.
And with glorious sunshine overhead, there could hardly have been a better setting to enjoy the day. Visitors relaxed on the lawns of our beautiful 18th Century Georgian Manor House, indulging in traditional cream tea and cake while admiring the spectacular collection of cars.
The excitement continued right through to our prize-giving ceremony, where Colin Denton presented awards to our proud exhibitors, celebrating some of the outstanding vehicles on display.

The classic motoring fun doesn’t stop there! Join us on Sunday 28 March 2027 for our Easter Egg-Stravaganza, featuring a fantastic showcase of classic Morris Minors in front of our Manor House.
It’s also the perfect little teaser for next year’s Classic and Vintage Car Show, which returns on the first weekend of September 2027. So, whether you’re a lifelong classic car enthusiast or simply love a great day out, make sure you have the date in your diary!
