The Garden of Exaggerated Beauty

Kindly sponsored by Provender Nurseries.

Overview

The Garden of Exaggerated Beauty is the latest addition to the National Gardening Centre. Designed by one of Capel Manor College’s garden design students and the winner of a competition in partnership with Provender Nurseries.

The unique design represents a drag queen bar with a catwalk, dance floor, and main stage, and is a celebration of the LGBTQ+ community.

Look out for…

The Lonicera, Teucrium, and Pittosporum balls, which represent the sculpted shape of the adoring crowds on the dance floor, as well as the Astelia representing the outstretched hands of the crowd. Meanwhile, the unmissable Cornus Venus takes centre stage.
