Capel Manor Gardens in Enfield is delighted to announce the return of its popular Classic and Vintage Car Show on Sunday 6 September 2026, from 10am to 5pm.
Set in 30 acres of beautiful gardens, this year’s show promises another spectacular display of motoring history, with over 550 classic and vintage cars on show, including vehicles featured on screen in Downton Abbey and Peaky Blinders.
This year’s event will also welcome the 1912 John Morris-Belsize fire engine, famously named Madeleine a rare, fully roadworthy vintage fire appliance housed at The Whitewebbs Museum of Transport. It is one of the only two surviving John Morris-Belsize fire engines left in the world.


The event is always highly anticipated and regularly attracts over 2,500 visitors, with glowing praise from both exhibitors and attendees.
Visitors can look forward to a full day that includes:
· An incredible line-up of classic and vintage cars
· Performances from the much-loved Enfield Brass Band
· Auto jumble and trade stalls offering unique finds and motoring memorabilia
· Hot food, drinks, ice cream and sweet treats
· Competitions and prizes
· Traditional cream tea on the back lawn of a 17th century Manor House
· Access to 30-acre gardens, mini zoo and animal talks
Roger Burrows will be opening the event in front of the Manor House at 11.15am and the day will conclude with a prize-giving ceremony, where proud car owners will be recognised for their exceptional vehicles.
